Description

  • Build production web applications with Next.js, React, TypeScript, Tailwind CSS, and modern UI libraries.
  • Develop and maintain Python/FastAPI backend services with typed schemas, async I/O, authentication, and background jobs.
  • Own product functionality across both user interfaces and APIs.
  • Design relational models and manage database migrations across Azure SQL and PostgreSQL.
  • Integrate Neo4j, pgvector, MongoDB, Redis, and other data services as required.
  • Implement multi-service communication using HTTP, Redis, and workers.
  • Develop automated frontend, backend, integration, and end-to-end tests.
  • Build complex data interfaces, graph visualizations, real-time features, and third-party integrations.
  • Operate applications using Azure, Docker Compose, Prometheus, Grafana, pnpm workspaces, and Turborepo.
  • Write maintainable code and documentation that enables subsequent engineers to modify modules independently.

Requirements

  • 6+ years of experience shipping production web applications.
  • 3+ years owning product functionality across both UI and API.
  • Strong TypeScript and React experience, including Next.js App Router, server/client boundaries, and TanStack Query or equivalent.
  • Strong Python and FastAPI experience, or equivalent depth with Django or Flask.
  • Experience with Pydantic, typed schemas, async I/O, authentication, and background jobs.
  • Strong relational modeling and migration experience with SQLAlchemy/Alembic or equivalent.
  • Experience with MSSQL or PostgreSQL and multi-service systems using HTTP, Redis, and workers.
  • A consistent testing practice covering backend unit/integration tests and frontend component tests.
  • Clear written communication and ability to create independently maintainable modules.
  • Experience with Neo4j or graph-based interfaces such as trees, canvases, XYFlow, or D3 is preferred.
  • Azure experience, including SQL, Blob, Key Vault, or comparable cloud services, is preferred.
  • Experience with complex data UIs, real-time technologies, telephony, LLM/RAG, embeddings, pgvector, WebRTC, DocuSign, GEDCOM, Google Maps, or Prometheus is preferred.
