Description

  • Build production frontend applications with Next.js, React, and strict TypeScript.
  • Develop backend services with Python, FastAPI, typed schemas, async I/O, authentication, and background jobs.
  • Design relational models, manage migrations, and work with SQL, PostgreSQL, Neo4j, pgvector, and MongoDB.
  • Develop and maintain multi-service architecture using HTTP, Redis, workers, and Docker Compose.
  • Implement complex data interfaces, graph-based functionality, real-time features, and third-party integrations.
  • Configure and operate Azure services, monitoring, metrics, and development tooling.
  • Write frontend, backend, integration, and end-to-end tests using tools such as Vitest, Testing Library, and Playwright.
  • Own product features across both UI and API and create maintainable modules for other engineers.
  • Collaborate through clear written communication and support reliable production delivery.

Requirements

  • 6+ years of experience shipping production web applications.
  • 3+ years owning product areas across both UI and API.
  • Strong TypeScript, React, Next.js App Router, and server/client boundary experience.
  • Strong Python and FastAPI experience, or comparable depth with Django or Flask.
  • Experience with typed schemas, async I/O, authentication, background jobs, Redis, and workers.
  • Strong relational modeling and migration experience with SQLAlchemy/Alembic or equivalent.
  • Experience with MSSQL or PostgreSQL and multi-service codebases.
  • Testing experience across backend unit/integration tests and frontend component tests.
  • Clear written communication and ability to create maintainable, understandable modules.
  • Experience with Azure, Neo4j or graph UIs, complex data interfaces, real-time technologies, telephony, LLM/RAG, WebRTC, DocuSign, GEDCOM, Google Maps, or Prometheus is preferred.
