Description

  • Lead the preparation of annual operating and capital budgets and consolidate inputs across departments and business units.
  • Maintain rolling forecasts for revenue, expenses, and cash flow, updating models with actuals and revised assumptions.
  • Build scenario and sensitivity analyses to evaluate potential business outcomes and risks.
  • Perform variance analysis comparing actual results to budgets and forecasts, and provide written explanations and recommendations.
  • Develop dynamic financial models in Excel or Google Sheets, including valuation and performance analyses such as DCF, ROI, IRR, and break-even.
  • Prepare management reporting packages, dashboards, and visualizations for executive review.
  • Present financial insights to leadership, highlighting key risks, opportunities, and decision points.
  • Partner with department heads and FP&A teams to align assumptions, budgets, and operational plans.
  • Identify process inefficiencies and help implement forecasting software or data integration improvements.
  • Continuously refine models and forecasting workflows to improve accuracy and reduce cycle time.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in financial planning and analysis, budgeting, or forecasting.
  • Advanced Excel or Google Sheets skills, including nested formulas, pivot tables, and sensitivity modeling.
  • Experience preparing variance analyses for leadership.
  • Experience building financial models from scratch and explaining them clearly.
  • Strong analytical skills with attention to detail.
  • Skilled communicator with the ability to influence leaders through data-driven storytelling.
  • Experience with FP&A tools such as Anaplan, Adaptive Insights, Hyperion, or Workday is preferred.
  • MBA, CFA, or CPA credential is preferred.
  • Experience forecasting in SaaS, real estate, or professional services is preferred.
  • Familiarity with BI and analytics tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or Looker is preferred.
  • Availability to work U.S. client business hours.
