Description

  • Manage day-to-day bookkeeping and general ledger activities.
  • Maintain accurate, organized, and audit-ready financial records in QuickBooks.
  • Oversee accounts payable, accounts receivable, and financial documentation controls.
  • Monitor weekly cash flow, liquidity, burn rate, runway projections, and financial sustainability metrics.
  • Prepare monthly financial reports, quarterly reporting packages, and annual financial summaries.
  • Build and maintain budgets, forecasts, and financial models, including variance analysis against actuals.
  • Support leadership with financial analysis for growth initiatives, operational decisions, and new business opportunities.
  • Define and track financial KPIs and operational performance metrics, and maintain dashboards and reporting systems.
  • Coordinate with external accountants and tax partners on tax filings, audits, and compliance requirements.
  • Improve accounting workflows, reporting systems, and automation opportunities as the business scales.

Requirements

  • 3–7+ years of experience in accounting, finance, or financial operations.
  • Hands-on experience with QuickBooks.
  • Advanced Excel or Google Sheets skills, including financial modeling, forecasting, budget tracking, and reporting.
  • Strong understanding of financial statements, accounting principles, and cash flow management.
  • Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities independently.
  • Experience in a startup or high-growth company is preferred.
  • Exposure to healthcare businesses is preferred.
  • Exposure to multi-entity structures is preferred.
  • Familiarity with cash vs. accrual accounting transitions, investor reporting, or fundraising support is preferred.
  • CPA certification or progress toward certification is preferred.
