Description

  • Build and launch email campaigns across ESP platforms such as HubSpot, Klaviyo, Marketo, Mailchimp, and ActiveCampaign.
  • Write subject lines, email copy, and calls to action tailored to audience segments.
  • Design responsive email templates and make basic HTML/CSS edits as needed.
  • Manage large contact databases, segment audiences, and maintain clean lists by removing bounces, inactive users, and spam risks.
  • Build drip campaigns, nurture sequences, and behavioral workflows, including lead nurturing, re-engagement, and abandoned cart flows.
  • Test automation workflows to ensure accurate execution.
  • Monitor inbox placement, sender reputation, suppression lists, and technical deliverability settings such as SPF, DKIM, and DNS.
  • Ensure email marketing practices comply with CAN-SPAM, GDPR, and CCPA requirements.
  • Run A/B tests on subject lines, content, CTAs, and send times to improve campaign performance.
  • Build weekly and monthly reports, track revenue attribution, and present insights to marketing and sales teams.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience in email marketing.
  • Proficiency in at least one ESP, such as HubSpot, Klaviyo, Marketo, Mailchimp, or ActiveCampaign.
  • Strong Excel or Google Sheets skills, including segmentation, VLOOKUPs, and pivot tables.
  • Basic knowledge of HTML/CSS for email templates.
  • Strong copywriting skills and attention to detail.
  • Comfortable working remotely during U.S. business hours.
  • Experience managing 50k+ contact databases is preferred.
  • Familiarity with deliverability tools such as Litmus, GlockApps, or Postmark is preferred.
  • Experience in SaaS, e-commerce, or B2B services is preferred.
  • Experience integrating ESPs with CRM systems such as Salesforce or HubSpot is preferred.
