Description

  • Own and prioritize the roadmap for a patient engagement digital product that delivers educational content and sponsored messaging to patients.
  • Define, frame, and validate customer problems and translate strategy into product bets aligned with company mission and OKRs.
  • Serve as the subject-matter expert for the product space and stay current on industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices.
  • Define meaningful KPIs, monitor outcomes, and use performance data to guide learning, iteration, and planning.
  • Lead structured product discovery using interviews, prototypes, data, and testing methods to de-risk ideas.
  • Create and leverage data and insights to understand product performance and build compelling readouts and business rationale.
  • Prioritize work effectively and manage stakeholder expectations to focus the team on the highest-impact initiatives.
  • Collaborate closely with design, engineering, product marketing, content, data, sales, legal, and customer success teams.
  • Represent the voice of the customer and use empathy and curiosity to understand user needs and behaviors.
  • Help mature product management best practices, processes, and measurement across the team and portfolio.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, Design, Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), or a related field required.
  • MBA or related master’s degree preferred.
  • 2-5 years of product management experience in digital media and consumer health tech environments.
  • Demonstrated success leading empowered product teams to meaningful outcomes.
  • Deep understanding of content serving strategies and algorithms, including machine learning/AI strategies.
  • Strong discovery skills and experience validating ideas before investing heavily in delivery.
  • Experience with A/B testing, experimentation frameworks, and hypothesis-driven development.
  • Strong data literacy and experience using data to influence product decisions.
  • High business acumen and comfort navigating technical tradeoffs with engineering partners.
  • Excellent communication and storytelling skills with the ability to align executives, partners, and teams.
  • Fluency with modern product tools such as Jira, Confluence, Looker, Mixpanel, and Figma, and with Agile methodologies.
  • Experience with interactive patient engagement systems or healthcare communication platforms, and healthcare data, preferred.
  • Understanding of privacy, consent, and regulatory requirements including HIPAA and PHI, strongly preferred.
  • Understanding of healthcare marketing compliance, including pharmaceutical advertising regulations, preferred.
  • Technical proficiency with analytics and management tools such as Salesforce, JIRA, Looker, and SQL, preferred.
  • Ability to move between strategy and execution with ease.
  • Ability to define the right metrics in unstructured environments and pull needed data with minimal support.
  • Ability to partner with engineers, designers, and business stakeholders while co-leading with humility and clarity.
  • Ability to mentor peers and model product management best practices.
  • Ability to operate autonomously, connect across the portfolio, and mature product capabilities.
  • Ability to advocate for the customer while balancing business constraints.
  • Ability to lead through influence and foster accountability without command-and-control tactics.
  • Ability to thrive in ambiguity and maintain team focus on outcomes.
