Description

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for technical support inquiries about the Output Management software suite.
  • Provide Level 1, Level 2, and Level 3 technical support for software running in IBM z/OS (MVS) environments at client sites.
  • Diagnose and resolve complex technical and application-level incidents reported by clients.
  • Investigate incidents in modules such as COBOL, JCL, and TSO/ISPF to develop and deliver patches.
  • Collaborate with internal R&D, development teams, product experts, and client operations teams to ensure timely resolution.
  • Define, develop, and execute non-regression test suites to validate patch stability.
  • Deploy patches and provide hands-on support to clients during implementation.
  • Author and maintain technical documentation, operational procedures, and knowledge base articles.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of support processes and workflows.
  • Provide Level 1 and Level 2 support for modern software environments, including Windows clients, Windows Servers, and Linux/Kubernetes-based systems.
  • Assist the Services team with document design projects using next-generation software offerings.

Requirements

  • Strong proficiency in the IBM z/OS (MVS) ecosystem.
  • Expert-level knowledge of JCL and COBOL.
  • Solid understanding of VSAM file management systems.
  • Operational or technical knowledge of Output Management, such as print shop workflows, inserting/mailing processes, or AFP print formats, is preferred.
  • Experience with ticketing systems and collaborative platforms such as Zoho Desk and MS SharePoint.
  • Advanced proficiency in MS Word is a plus.
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent experience.
  • 2 to 5 years of professional experience in a similar support or engineering role.
  • Fluent French and professional English.
  • Strong client-facing communication skills with the ability to translate complex technical issues into clear business language.
  • High level of rigor, autonomy, strong service orientation, and analytical thinking.
  • Proven ability to learn and master complex legacy and modern software architectures over the long term.
