Description

  • Coordinate the closing process for RTL, Bridge, Renovation, Ground-Up Construction, DSCR, and Portfolio loans from clear-to-close through funding.
  • Generate and review loan documents using Lightning Docs or similar document preparation software.
  • Ensure loan documents reflect approved terms and comply with company, investor, and regulatory requirements.
  • Review final title commitments, insurance policies, settlement statements, and closing packages for accuracy.
  • Coordinate with title companies, escrow officers, attorneys, brokers, borrowers, warehouse banks, and internal teams to schedule and complete closings.
  • Confirm all underwriting and funding conditions are satisfied before document release.
  • Review executed closing documents for completeness and accuracy before funding.
  • Resolve documentation discrepancies and closing issues while maintaining service levels.
  • Coordinate funding requests and communicate funding authorization with finance and treasury teams.
  • Maintain accurate loan records and closing documentation in the Loan Origination System.
  • Ensure post-closing documentation is complete and delivered to servicing, investors, or custodians as required.
  • Work closely with Processing, Underwriting, Servicing, and Capital Markets to support a seamless borrower experience.
  • Manage multiple transactions simultaneously while meeting closing deadlines.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of loan closing experience in private lending, hard money, non-QM, or Business Purpose Lending environments.
  • Experience coordinating closings for RTL, Bridge, Ground-Up Construction, and/or DSCR loan products.
  • Strong understanding of title, escrow, settlement statements, insurance, and funding requirements.
  • Experience reviewing legal loan documentation for accuracy and completeness.
  • Knowledge of residential investment lending and entity borrowers such as LLCs, Corporations, and Trusts.
  • Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to prioritize a high-volume pipeline.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
  • Excellent communication and relationship management skills.
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively across departments.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Adobe Acrobat, and electronic document management systems.
  • Experience with Loan Origination Systems such as LendingWise, Encompass, Salesforce, or custom LOS platforms (preferred).
  • Experience with self-drawn docs such as Lightning Docs or DocMagic (preferred).
  • Experience with warehouse lending and funding coordination (preferred).
  • Familiarity with investor purchase requirements and post-closing delivery processes (preferred).
  • Experience working with brokers and correspondent lending channels (preferred).
  • Understanding of construction draw processes and rehabilitation loan structures (preferred).
