Description

  • Identify delayed or stalled prescriptions using data insights and take appropriate action.
  • Build and maintain relationships with regional network specialty pharmacies, their leadership, and staff.
  • Educate pharmacists and pharmacy staff on patient access and affordability programs.
  • Partner with healthcare professionals to support complete, accurate, and timely prescription submissions.
  • Serve as a network specialty pharmacy partner within the assigned geography and communicate promptly with stakeholders.
  • Maintain strong working relationships with sales and sales leadership.
  • Support continuous process improvement through root cause analysis and identification of training needs.
  • Conduct needs assessments and provide education on CoverMyMeds, prior authorization processes, and pharmacy workflows.
  • Coordinate cases with HUB representatives to address patient and physician needs quickly.
  • Educate physician office staff on patient assistance programs and call center support services.
  • Attend POAs and regional conference calls and provide training and feedback on network pharmacy positioning and market access conditions.
  • Provide timely patient access updates to National Account Directors regarding pharmacy claims and prior authorization processes.
  • Collaborate with the Field Reimbursement and Patient Services Team on complex patient cases and training activities.
  • Maintain compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and ethical obligations.
  • Prepare expense reports and manage travel arrangements when business travel is required.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred, or Licensed/Certified Pharmacy Technician with at least 5+ years of experience.
  • Experience working with a Pharmacy Benefit Manager, health plan, or healthcare provider office managing the prescription fulfillment process.
  • Working knowledge of pharmacy benefit design, including Commercial, Medicare Part D, Medicaid, and prior authorization processes.
  • Experience working with pharmacies and/or office-based physician practices preferred.
  • Understanding of and ability to comply with HIPAA rules and patient privacy regulations.
  • Ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment with date-sensitive deadlines.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build collaborative relationships across cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to deliver presentations to both small and large groups.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills, along with excellent planning and organizational skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to analyze data and trends quickly.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
  • Less than 10% average travel required, with variation based on business needs and geography.
