Description

  • Own the account end to end, including relationship management, technical guidance, commercial strategy, escalations, expansion, and renewal.
  • Serve as the single point of contact for all inbound and outbound customer communication.
  • Set and enforce internal response-time SLAs and coordinate cross-functional follow-up.
  • Advise the customer on integration approach, simulation usage, and replica adoption.
  • Identify technical and commercial risks early and recommend better paths to production.
  • Program manage 5 to 8 concurrent workstreams across Parallel Domain and customer teams.
  • Build and maintain a detailed org map across the customer’s corporate family, including decision makers, champions, blockers, and budget holders.
  • Run customer cadence meetings, including weekly tactical syncs, monthly steering meetings, and quarterly executive business reviews.
  • Drive multi-year account planning, expansion into new teams and use cases, and pricing discussions.
  • Coordinate internal resources across FDEs, engineering, product, finance, and legal so the customer receives a unified response.

Requirements

  • BS or MS in computer science, electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, robotics, or a related field.
  • 8+ years of experience, with substantial ownership of complex enterprise technical accounts.
  • Engineering background with a career path that moved from engineer into customer-facing technical roles.
  • Technical fluency in simulation, perception, sensor systems, ADAS tooling, ML infrastructure, or autonomous systems.
  • Ability to discuss sim-to-real gap, lidar modeling, camera ISP pipelines, or HD map ontology with confidence.
  • Track record of managing multi-million-dollar enterprise relationships.
  • Experience owning expansion, pricing, and strategic planning, not just renewals.
  • Strong understanding of how large, matrixed organizations make decisions, including org structure, procurement cycles, and stakeholder dynamics.
  • Program management instincts for tracking multiple concurrent workstreams and surfacing blockers early.
  • Strong commercial judgment in contract structure, pricing, and expansion conversations.
  • Fully remote role with willingness to travel internationally, including Japan.
  • Strong signal: 3 to 5 years as an IC engineer at an OEM, Tier 1, or AV company before moving into customer-facing roles.
  • Preferred: Experience as a Technical Program Manager, Technical Account Director, or Customer Engineering Lead at a simulation, developer tools, or autonomous systems company.
  • Preferred: Experience managing OEM relationships in automotive or trucking, especially with international stakeholders.
  • Preferred: Familiarity with closed-loop simulation, scenario-based testing, or sensor-in-the-loop workflows.
