Description

  • Lead and manage a team of 8 SDRs executing 400+ weekly prospecting activities focused on cold outreach to K-12 decision-makers.
  • Coach SDRs daily through live call reviews, email tear-downs, role-plays, and objection-handling to elevate performance and drive quota attainment.
  • Refine outbound sequences and messaging and build/iterate multi-channel playbooks, including territory plans and account-based strategies that break into new districts.
  • Partner with marketing to align campaigns with outbound efforts, refine messaging, and maximize ROI on joint initiatives.
  • Collaborate with AE and sales leadership to align SDR activity with pipeline goals and ensure seamless handoffs of qualified meetings.
  • Hire, onboard, and develop SDRs who can navigate complex district org charts and confidently cold-prospect.
  • Track KPIs (activity volume, meeting conversion, pipeline contribution) and use data to optimize team performance and forecasting.
  • Build and execute strategies to penetrate competitive territories and convert rejections into revenue.

Requirements

  • 1+ years managing SDR teams in EdTech with proven results scaling outbound motion (quota attainment, pipeline growth, team retention).
  • Deep expertise in cold outbound strategy and experience coaching reps to win into unresponsive accounts.
  • Strong operational skills in CRM hygiene, forecasting, territory design, and experience with tools like Salesforce, Gong, and HubSpot.
  • Coaching mindset focused on developing people through feedback, role-play, and skill-building rather than micromanagement.
  • Strategic thinker with execution speed and willingness to roll up your sleeves and make calls alongside the team.
  • Experience working with K-12 district decision-makers and navigating complex district organizational charts.
  • Experience tracking and using data/KPIs to optimize team performance and pipeline contribution.

  • Base salary $90,000–$120,000 plus $40,000 variable compensation.
