Description

  • Evaluate existing legacy build and deployment workflows to identify inefficiencies and bottlenecks.
  • Design and implement end-to-end CI/CD pipelines with automated testing and security scanning.
  • Transition manual infrastructure setups into reproducible Infrastructure as Code using tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation.
  • Standardize build artifacts and deployment patterns across environments.
  • Implement logging and alerting to provide actionable feedback on build and deployment issues.
  • Collaborate with engineers to solve delivery and infrastructure problems in a high-growth environment.
  • Migrate major legacy workflows to a modern CI/CD framework.
  • Establish and maintain a culture of Infrastructure as Code and reduced manual intervention.

Requirements

  • 3–5 years of experience in DevOps or SRE with a track record of migrating or upgrading legacy pipelines.
  • Deep experience with CI/CD tools such as GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or Azure DevOps.
  • Strong experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Proficiency in Python, Bash, C#, or PowerShell for automation.
  • Experience working with older systems such as XML and manual scripts, and the ability to replace them with modern alternatives.
  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field, or equivalent continuous professional development.
  • Experience in high-growth tech or private equity-backed environments (preferred).
  • Background in transitioning monolithic build systems to microservices-based architectures (preferred).
  • Ability to work remotely in the US.
  • Willingness to participate in a multi-step interview process, including application review, recruiter call, assessment, hiring manager call, interview loop, debrief, and offer.
