Description

  • Manage the full software renewal lifecycle for assigned accounts.
  • Proactively engage clients to review usage, address concerns, and present upgrade options.
  • Negotiate renewal terms, pricing, and contractual agreements with legal and finance partners.
  • Identify and close upsell and cross-sell opportunities for licenses, modules, and services.
  • Conduct product demonstrations and presentations to highlight solution value.
  • Develop account plans and strategies to achieve renewal and expansion goals.
  • Monitor account health, revenue performance, and customer satisfaction metrics.
  • Provide accurate forecasts and pipeline updates using CRM and reporting tools.
  • Research market trends, competitive dynamics, and new business opportunities in assigned sectors.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned accounts and resolve customer inquiries.
  • Collaborate with sales, marketing, support, and implementation teams to improve outcomes and retention.

Requirements

  • 5 years of experience in sales or account management, ideally in SaaS.
  • Proven track record of exceeding quotas through relationship-based selling.
  • Ability to explain complex software solutions in a clear, compelling way.
  • Proficiency with CRM tools and sales productivity software.
  • Self-motivated and able to independently manage a territory and own results.
  • Comfort with traveling up to 25% for partner meetings and industry events.
  • Bachelor’s degree in business or a related field.
  • Experience in higher education, K-12, enterprise, or corporate markets is preferred.
  • Strong collaboration skills for working across legal, finance, marketing, support, and implementation teams.

  • Base salary of $65,000 to $75,000 per year.
  • On-target earnings of $108,000 to $125,000 with commission eligibility.
