Description

  • Handle inbound customer contacts by phone, email, and chat regarding solar system performance, billing, and account support.
  • Provide first-level troubleshooting and guide customers through basic steps to resolve issues.
  • Accurately log, update, and maintain customer interactions in the CRM system.
  • Set clear expectations for customers on timelines, next steps, and resolution paths.
  • Identify and triage cases that need escalation to Tier 2 or specialized teams.
  • Follow SOPs for routing high-priority or technical cases and document all relevant details.
  • Deliver empathetic, professional customer service and aim for first-contact resolution whenever possible.
  • Educate customers on how to monitor solar system performance and find helpful resources.
  • Follow service-level agreements, communication procedures, and data security requirements.
  • Provide feedback to leadership on recurring issues, trends, and process gaps.

Requirements

  • 1+ year of customer service experience, with call center or BPO experience preferred.
  • Basic familiarity with solar energy systems or willingness to learn quickly.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both English and Spanish, required.
  • Ability to stay calm and professional under pressure.
  • Comfortable using CRM or ticketing systems, with Salesforce preferred but not required.
  • Detail-oriented and able to follow SOPs accurately.
  • Positive, team-oriented attitude and willingness to grow into more complex responsibilities.
  • Ability to deliver constructive feedback clearly.
  • Employment is contingent upon successful completion of a background check.
