Description

  • Develop and maintain frontend and backend components of the application using React, React Native, and Django.
  • Build and optimize mobile applications for smooth performance on iOS and Android.
  • Collaborate with designers, product managers, and developers to translate requirements into technical specifications and deliverable features.
  • Conduct code reviews to uphold best practices and maintainable code standards.
  • Optimize application performance and troubleshoot bugs across web and mobile platforms.
  • Implement and maintain automated testing for frontend and backend components.
  • Participate in daily stand-ups and sprint planning to align on priorities and progress.
  • Manage and maintain databases to support efficient data storage and retrieval.
  • Stay current with industry trends and incorporate relevant technologies into the development process.

Requirements

  • Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and frontend frameworks such as React.
  • Experience with React Native mobile application development, including iOS and Android performance optimization.
  • Strong backend development experience with at least one backend technology such as Python (Django) or Node.js.
  • Experience with database systems such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, or similar.
  • Knowledge of RESTful API design and implementation.
  • Familiarity with Git and collaborative development workflows.
  • Ability to optimize performance and troubleshoot issues across web and mobile platforms.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to debugging technical challenges.
  • Effective communication and teamwork skills in an agile, cross-functional environment.

Benefits

  • $50,000 - $75,000 annual compensation.
  • Remote contract role.
  • Opportunity to work with an international engineering team.
