Description

  • Own and manage a portfolio of PadSplit hosts as the primary point of contact for support, policy, and portfolio direction.
  • Build proactive, trust-based host relationships that reduce churn and increase lifetime value.
  • Conduct regular performance check-ins and structured reviews against host goals and PadSplit benchmarks.
  • Drive host accountability on occupancy, bookability flags, rejection rates, move-in ratings, and member retention.
  • Partner with hosts on portfolio growth, including adding new properties and expanding their footprint.
  • Serve as an internal advocate by surfacing host feedback and trends to product, operations, and leadership.
  • Maintain deep knowledge of PadSplit’s platform, fee structures, payout mechanics, and host-facing policies.
  • Guide hosts on pricing strategy, occupancy optimization, listing quality, and platform best practices using data.
  • Lead onboarding calls for new hosts and set expectations for early success.
  • Resolve complex host issues, coordinate cross-functional escalations, and document outcomes accurately.
  • Identify recurring host issues and contribute to scalable playbooks, talk tracks, and process improvements.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of account management, customer success, or high-touch client relationship experience.
  • Background in real estate, property management, hospitality, or a platform-based marketplace is strongly preferred.
  • Ability and willingness to develop deep working knowledge of PadSplit’s product, fee structures, and policies.
  • Proven ability to manage a large book of relationships with a proactive, not reactive, approach.
  • Comfort using data to communicate performance and turn metrics into actionable guidance.
  • Strong critical thinking and sound judgment in incomplete or conflicting situations.
  • Ability to balance empathy with directness when delivering difficult or unpopular outcomes.
  • Clear, confident written and verbal communication with diverse audiences.
  • Highly organized with strong prioritization and follow-through across a large portfolio.
  • Genuine belief in PadSplit’s mission and interest in the affordable housing space.
  • Motivated to help build and improve a new function from the ground up.
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States and complete E-Verify and I-9 requirements.
