Description

  • Design and run the outbound system from scratch, including list building, signal capture, multi-channel sequences, landing pages, and conversion.
  • Own demand generation by leading the content strategy, social media presence, and SEO that attract and convert the target buyer.
  • Turn existing assets, publisher relationships, and audience engagement into qualified pipeline.
  • Use AI workflows to increase output and automate repetitive marketing work at scale.
  • Document everything built in year one so the system is repeatable and can support future hires.
  • Build and hire the marketing team in year two.
  • Develop experiments, measure performance, and scale what works.
  • Work directly with the CEO of ExpertEdge and collaborate with the broader team on growth execution.

Requirements

  • Experience having started something, run a P&L, or served as an early commercial hire at a growing company.
  • Ability to quantify impact with numbers such as pipeline built, deals closed, and conversion rates.
  • Ability to write cold emails that earn replies and build sequences that book meetings.
  • Experience running discovery calls and driving clear next steps.
  • Strong, specific writing and the ability to produce effective marketing copy.
  • Ability to show relevant samples such as cold emails, LinkedIn posts, or landing page copy.
  • Comfort selling to developer, technical, or data-led buyers (preferred).
  • Background in learning, content, publishing, or developer tools (preferred).
  • Hands-on experience with Clay, Apollo, Smartlead, Instantly, or similar tools (preferred).
  • Familiarity with product-led growth and self-serve B2B funnels (preferred).
  • Experience building an audience or community in public (preferred).
