Description

  • Own full strategic and operational management of Target and Best Buy accounts across the US and Canada, including joint business planning (JBP).
  • Drive promotional calendars, line reviews, and buyer relationships to maximize category performance and conversion.
  • Lead Canadian market expansion efforts and navigate Canadian retail nuances to grow presence and sales.
  • Manage North American retail P&L and margins, including oversight of trade spend, MDF, and MAP compliance.
  • Ensure best-in-class in-store and digital shelf execution at Target and Best Buy by optimizing brand storytelling, search, and conversion.
  • Lead Collaborative Planning, Forecasting, and Replenishment (CPFR) processes to maintain high in-stock rates across US and Canada.
  • Develop and implement independent channel programs and go-to-market strategies for Big Box retail.
  • Represent Owlet at trade shows and key retailer meetings to advance account objectives and partnerships.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of experience in National Account Management within Consumer Electronics or Juvenile Products.
  • Proven experience managing Canadian retailers and cross-border retail operations (US & Canada).
  • Proven track record managing a $20M+ book of business.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business or related field; MBA preferred.
  • Expert-level fluency with Target and Best Buy portals and the ability to use data to build buyer-facing narratives.
  • Experience with 1-tier and 2-tier distribution models.
  • Direct experience managing trade spend, MDF, MAP compliance, and P&L responsibility.
  • Comfortable with ambiguity and a history of building independent channel programs from the ground up.
  • Ability to travel approximately 25% (Minneapolis, Vancouver/Toronto, CES, ABC Kids Expo).
