Description

  • Own and manage a portfolio of existing clients in the U.S. and Canada to maintain satisfaction and account stability.
  • Conduct regular in-person client visits to strengthen relationships, gather feedback, and address customer needs proactively.
  • Identify upselling and cross-selling opportunities within current accounts and promote underutilized products or services.
  • Develop new business through prospecting, networking, referrals, and participation in industry events.
  • Manage end-to-end B2B sales processes, including order entry, logistics coordination, shipment follow-up, and payment collection.
  • Perform market analysis and monitor competitor activity to support business development strategy and sales planning.
  • Prepare and deliver tailored sales presentations and proposals to prospective and existing clients.
  • Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms with internal stakeholders to close deals.
  • Represent the company at international trade fairs such as PackExpo.
  • Coordinate with internal operations teams in Turkey and other locations to ensure smooth service and on-time delivery.
  • Maintain account records, sales forecasts, and activity tracking in internal tools, and support process improvements.
  • Provide regular reporting on sales performance, client satisfaction, and business development progress to senior management.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Economics, Engineering, or a related field; degree may be flexible with relevant experience.
  • Minimum 5 years of total sales experience.
  • At least 2–3 years of experience in industrial B2B sales.
  • Experience in the packaging materials industry, including films, flexible packaging, labels, or related products, is preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of export, customs regulations, and logistics operations relevant to U.S. trade.
  • Must be based in the U.S., preferably on the East Coast or Midwest (NJ, OH, IL, or surrounding states).
  • Willingness and ability to travel frequently for client visits and industry events.
  • Valid driver's license and ability to use a personal or rental car for travel.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office tools; SAP knowledge is a plus.
  • Valid U.S. work authorization.
  • Fluency in Turkish and English.
  • Strong customer focus and account management mindset.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a professional attitude.
  • Highly organized, analytical, and comfortable working with data and numbers.
  • Ability to work independently and remotely while remaining a reliable, personable team player.
  • Long-term growth mindset and willingness to invest in the company's success.
