Description

  • Lead and coach a team of 8–10 Account Manager sellers through regular deal coaching, mentorship, and executive alignment.
  • Teach AMs to build and manage territory plans that support quota attainment.
  • Coach AMs to generate pipeline through daily research, cold calling, and email campaigns.
  • Train AMs to run strong discovery calls with senior executives and surface customer needs and pains.
  • Enable AMs to deliver demos and articulate the Outreach value proposition and ROI.
  • Coach AMs to maintain deal momentum across a typical 30–60 day sales cycle.
  • Identify deal risk using the MEDDPICC methodology and help mitigate it with internal partners and executives.
  • Forecast deals and team attainment using Outreach’s forecast methodology.
  • Partner with Solutions Consultants, technical resources, and leadership peers to support team success and refine processes.
  • Help AMs establish senior points of contact within accounts to drive account health and upsell.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of outstanding results leading teams in sales organizations, delivering existing-customer growth and consistently achieving sales targets.
  • Experience in a closing role prior to assuming leadership responsibilities.
  • Experience managing existing customers and renewals.
  • Experience leading teams in a solution sale that requires multiple stakeholder sign-off before purchase.
  • Experience helping teams develop business cases and ROI documentation.
  • Familiarity with AI-powered sales tools and interest in coaching a team to use them effectively.
  • Experience leveraging Salesforce, Outreach.io, ZoomInfo, LinkedIn, and/or 6sense.
  • Remote location preferred on the East Coast.
