Description

  • Provide GI-focused behavioral health services to adult patients in a digital integrated healthcare environment.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary care team including physicians, nurse practitioners, dietitians, and health coaches to coordinate member care.
  • Use evidence-based interventions such as CBT, relaxation strategies, motivational interviewing, ACT, psychoeducation, and gut-directed hypnotherapy.
  • Complete biopsychosocial assessments and develop concrete treatment goals tied to GI-related outcomes.
  • Maintain accurate electronic health records and follow company clinical protocols and manuals.
  • Participate in clinical coordination meetings with other care team members.
  • Take part in ongoing professional training to maintain licensure and expand clinical knowledge.
  • Contribute to the development of psychological best practices and improve the member experience through team feedback.

Requirements

  • Master’s degree or doctorate in psychology, counseling, social work, or another relevant field.
  • Active therapy license in good standing as an LPC with Counseling Compact eligibility.
  • Must be licensed in a Counseling Compact state and located in Arizona, Georgia, Ohio, or Louisiana.
  • California licensure is preferred but not required.
  • 3+ years of relevant experience delivering CBT, relaxation strategies, and motivational interviewing.
  • Experience with GI-focused care is preferred but not essential.
  • Ability to communicate effectively and work collaboratively with physicians, nurse practitioners, health coaches, and registered dietitians.
  • Comfort with common administrative tools such as Zoom, Slack, Office, and Google Drive, plus electronic charting.
  • Telehealth experience is preferred.
  • Strong communication skills and emotional intelligence.
  • Comfort working in a fast-paced, remote-first, mission-driven environment.
