Description

  • Serve as the primary owner of market-level performance metrics, including growth, financial, and quality outcomes.
  • Partner with internal strategy teams to identify unmet consumer needs and support new product planning and rollout.
  • Shape and oversee long-term business, expansion, and operating plans for assigned markets.
  • Work with finance, data, and actuarial partners to monitor utilization and cost trends and identify deviations and mitigations.
  • Serve as a senior ambassador for Oscar’s commercial interests in the market, including engagement with state regulators and the community.
  • Partner with Clinical leadership to support quality performance targets and value-balanced decision making.
  • Partner with the Growth team to set and achieve membership, retention, and revenue targets.
  • Partner with Network leadership on provider contracting and operational priorities for local market success.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with strategic hospital and provider systems and oversee market transactions.
  • Ensure compliance, including network adequacy, across market operations.

Requirements

  • 15+ years of professional experience.
  • 10+ years of healthcare industry experience, including P&L responsibility.
  • 10+ years of leadership experience leading and developing high-performing teams.
  • 10+ years of provider-facing experience.
  • MBA or other professional degree from a top-tier program with a strong track record of excellence (preferred).
  • Experience with growth-stage enterprises and scaling departments and processes (preferred).
