Description

  • Conduct market, policy, and competitive research across individual and employer-subsidized health insurance offerings.
  • Build, maintain, and improve models that forecast membership growth and retention rates.
  • Analyze competitor plan designs, benefit structures, pricing approaches, and market positioning.
  • Track regulatory and policy developments and assess their potential impact on product decisions.
  • Support population and employer-segment research initiatives.
  • Analyze product performance across growth, retention, utilization, and margin metrics.
  • Build and maintain recurring dashboards and performance reports.
  • Support deep-dive analyses for product reviews, remediation efforts, and future-year planning.
  • Support product filing cycles through data validation, quality assurance, and analytical support.
  • Prepare summaries, exhibits, and briefing materials for product leadership and cross-functional partners.

Requirements

  • 1+ years of experience developing and managing commercial insurance products.
  • Ability to travel up to 25% of the time.
  • Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative or healthcare field such as Business, Healthcare, Economics, Mathematics, Statistics, Actuarial Science, or Finance, or equivalent years of experience.
  • 1+ years of experience in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment such as consulting, finance, economics, or business development.
  • Proven analytical experience with the ability to translate data into insight and action.
  • Prior experience in health insurance, including individual and/or small employer products, or in the healthcare industry.
  • Ability to work with large datasets and distill analyses into actionable business insights.
  • Ability to navigate ambiguity and drive outcomes with a structured, systematic thought process.

  • Base salary of $83,628 - $109,761 per year in New Jersey, New York, and California; $75,265 - $98,785 per year in all other locations.
