Description

  • Own insights generation and follow-up for a major business unit, serving as the first point of contact for senior business leaders.
  • Analyze data to help business teams make better informed, data-driven decisions.
  • Translate analysis into clear, concise, and compelling stories for non-technical stakeholders and leadership.
  • Define requirements and improvements for operational and analytical dashboards as user needs evolve.
  • Develop models and tools that identify healthcare inefficiencies and generate actionable insights to reduce them.
  • Collaborate across the organization to own stakeholder relationships, identify improvement actions, and monitor initiative impact.
  • Scope, analyze, and execute analytical requests independently, including defining questions, methodologies, and results with stakeholders.
  • Support strategic projects and other assigned duties to meet business needs.
  • Comply with all applicable laws and regulations.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of technical work experience using analytical tools and writing analytical reports.
  • 3+ years of experience working with large datasets and distilling analyses into structured, relevant insights.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, demonstrated by 5+ examples of presenting analysis to Director-level or above leadership.
  • 3+ years of experience in SQL, including filtering, aggregating, and building CTEs, or proficiency in R or Python.
  • Experience with Pandas, for loops, and statistical tests is preferred if using Python or R.
  • 3+ years of experience developing dashboards and using Looker or other business intelligence/data visualization tools.
  • 3+ years of experience using Google Sheets or Excel, including VLOOKUP, nested IF statements, and connected Sheets.
  • 1+ years of experience in healthcare, consulting, finance, or the insurance industry.
  • 2+ years of experience preparing healthcare analytics and reporting is preferred.
  • 2+ years of experience managing value-based contracts at a payer or provider organization is preferred.
  • Exposure to healthcare contract negotiations, risk adjustment, ACA marketplace, quality of care, or population health is preferred.
  • Relevant skills, education, and experience will be considered in final offer determination.
