Description

  • Serve as the primary commercial contact for assigned hospital accounts and manage day-to-day customer relationships.
  • Develop and execute territory sales plans in collaboration with the Director of Sales, North America.
  • Identify target accounts, new customers, and barriers to product adoption, then implement solutions to address them.
  • Execute launch strategies through product introductions, in-services, and customer education.
  • Generate, track, and follow up on sales leads to support territory growth.
  • Build and maintain relationships with multiple stakeholders within each account, including keeping customers informed on supply and inventory status.
  • Analyze territory performance and market conditions, including monitoring competitors and sharing insights with marketing.
  • Resolve customer complaints by investigating issues and recommending actions to management.
  • Support market development and education programs to increase awareness and adoption among physicians and other healthcare professionals.
  • Represent the company at trade shows, conferences, and other industry events while working closely with clinical, marketing, medical, and leadership teams.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in business or a medically related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of sales experience in the medical device or transplant industry with a proven track record of meeting or exceeding targets.
  • Minimum of 5 years of sales experience in hospital total account management.
  • Strong understanding of the liver transplant disease space, clinical studies, and medical device products.
  • Excellent presentation skills for both virtual and in-person audiences.
  • Exceptional interpersonal, communication, and active listening skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to work with urgency in a high-stress, non-routine environment.
  • Proven ability to develop and execute effective sales strategies.
  • Deep understanding of the medical device market, preferably with experience in organ transplantation.
  • Ability and willingness to travel extensively, including routine air and overnight travel.
