Description

  • Lead the Internal IT team and scale it through hiring, coaching, and clear operational ownership.
  • Own the end-to-end onboarding and offboarding process, including devices, accounts, access, and asset recovery.
  • Run identity and access management across corporate systems, including SSO/IdP, MFA, roles, least privilege, and access reviews.
  • Define and enforce endpoint standards for macOS, Windows, and Linux, including MDM, encryption, patching, EDR, and hardening baselines.
  • Own the employee hardware lifecycle, including procurement, provisioning, repairs, replacements, returns, and secure disposal.
  • Administer and secure core internal SaaS tools, including accounts, permissions, configurations, and licenses.
  • Build a high-quality IT service desk experience with SLAs/SLOs, knowledge base content, runbooks, and self-service automation.
  • Own office IT fundamentals where applicable, such as Wi‑Fi, meeting room AV, and secure guest access.
  • Partner with Security on incident readiness, including device isolation, access resets, evidence collection, and post-incident hardening.
  • Manage vendors and budgets, including hardware standards, renewals, and license optimization.

Requirements

  • Experience leading Internal IT or IT Operations teams in a modern, fast-moving tech environment.
  • Strong hands-on experience with identity and access management, including SSO/IdP, MFA, RBAC/group design, and least privilege.
  • Experience running endpoint management at scale across macOS and at least one of Windows or Linux.
  • Experience with MDM/UEM, encryption, patching, EDR, and OS baselines.
  • Understanding of IT service management, including ticketing, SLAs/SLOs, documentation, and automation.
  • Ability to work pragmatically with a security-minded approach that improves posture without slowing teams down.
  • Strong communication skills with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Authorization to work in Germany and ability to pass required screening, including export-control screening where applicable.
  • Experience supporting compliance or audit readiness, such as ISO 27001 or SOC 2, is preferred.
  • Strong automation skills using scripting or APIs for onboarding/offboarding and access workflows are preferred.
  • Experience supporting multi-site and hybrid environments, including shipping logistics and office network standards, is preferred.
  • Familiarity with security baselines such as CIS and endpoint/access incident response workflows is preferred.
