Description

  • Design, build, and deploy multi-agent workflows for triage, data retrieval, summarization, reporting, and escalation routing.
  • Translate operational processes into production-ready workflow specifications and communicate system capabilities, limitations, and failure modes to stakeholders.
  • Partner with process owners to iteratively deliver workflows that fit operational needs.
  • Monitor, troubleshoot, and improve production workflows across prompts, tools, data, and orchestration.
  • Manage AI workload costs through prompt optimization, caching, and deterministic automation where appropriate.
  • Define quality standards, human-review checkpoints, escalation criteria, and validation checks for AI-assisted outputs.
  • Create and maintain runbooks, SOPs, documentation, and recurring operational reports.
  • Integrate workflows across Catalyst, Pulse, and Discovery products.
  • Build and operate client-facing portals, onboarding, provisioning, support, and status-communication workflows.
  • Capture client friction and translate it into actionable product and engineering improvements.

Requirements

  • 5 years of proven experience translating user requirements into wireframes, workflows, or similar deliverables.
  • 1 year of proven experience using Claude or a similar commercial offering to build AI agents.
  • Experience building and explaining functioning multi-agent workflows, including agent handoffs, context sharing, failures, and fixes.
  • Practical prompt-engineering expertise, including RAG and tool or function calling.
  • Ability to troubleshoot workflows using Claude, GPT-class models, LangChain, AutoGen, or CrewAI.
  • Working proficiency with APIs and scripting to independently build and debug workflows, including JSON and Python.
  • Experience communicating technical systems, limitations, and failure modes to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Experience eliciting requirements and developing solutions when stakeholders cannot provide detailed specifications.
  • Experience building production external-facing interfaces, portals, or client-facing applications.
  • Experience designing or automating customer onboarding, provisioning, and measurable support workflows.
  • Ability to travel occasionally, up to 10%, including potential international travel.
  • Preferred: 5–7 years of software development experience; Python, React, external API design, accessibility, ticketing/CRM tools, AI observability, government or defense environments, and AI-assisted development tools such as Claude, Copilot, or Cursor.
