Description

  • Run business-winning strategies and campaigns to secure new orders and grow the business internationally.
  • Own opportunities from initial concept through profitability and sustainable market growth.
  • Lead the development of bids, proposals, and customer-focused value propositions.
  • Work collaboratively with strategic partners and distributors worldwide.
  • Represent OpenWorks in formal presentations, expert panels, demonstrations, and one-to-one meetings.
  • Travel across designated geographic areas to engage with customers and partners.
  • Ensure compliance with company processes and applicable laws.
  • Support system integration activities with customers and suppliers.
  • Build strong internal relationships to ensure customer needs are understood and met.

Requirements

  • Significant experience in the defence and security sector.
  • Strong understanding of multi-domain defence applications.
  • Proven track record of developing successful, profitable business campaigns and sales.
  • Creativity and drive to identify and evaluate new opportunities.
  • Commitment to continuously improving business development and sales processes.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain complex technical capabilities to non-technical audiences.
  • Confident briefing style suitable for senior stakeholders across industry, government, and the military.
  • Strong internal relationship-building skills.
  • Willingness to travel and represent OpenWorks to customers and suppliers.
  • Full driving licence.
  • Ability to obtain, or already hold, security clearance.
  • Desirable: additional languages.
  • Desirable: experience with optical systems.
  • Desirable: existing relationships with leading authorities and industry integrators.
