Description

  • Qualify restaurant leads against an ideal customer profile and pass only qualified prospects to Account Executives.
  • Secure sales appointments for qualified leads and support pipeline creation.
  • Conduct outbound prospecting through cold calls, emails, and social media outreach.
  • Educate prospects on OpenTable’s products, services, and features and their value to restaurant operations.
  • Collaborate with Account Executives on target accounts, account strategy, and conversion efforts.
  • Build and maintain relationships with restaurant owners, managers, and decision-makers.
  • Track prospect activity and maintain accurate records in CRM software such as Salesforce.
  • Stay informed on industry trends, competitor activity, and restaurant market conditions.
  • Attend sales meetings, training sessions, and professional development activities to strengthen product and sales knowledge.
  • Manage communications across time zones and respond to urgent matters as needed in a global work environment.

Requirements

  • 3–5 years of experience in sales development, business development, or a similar role.
  • Experience in the hospitality, technology, or SaaS industry is preferred.
  • Proven track record of generating leads, qualifying prospects, and meeting or exceeding sales targets and quotas.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport and influence potential clients.
  • Ability to deliver a compelling basic sales pitch and use basic selling techniques.
  • Strong presentation and negotiation skills with the ability to tailor messaging to restaurant needs and challenges.
  • Self-motivated with a proactive approach to lead generation and pipeline management.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with Account Executives and cross-functional teams.
  • Familiarity with CRM software such as Salesforce and sales productivity tools such as Groove.
  • Understanding of the restaurant industry and familiarity with OpenTable’s platform and solutions is advantageous.
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or a related field is preferred.
