Description

  • Target, identify, and approach prospective restaurant customers within an assigned territory.
  • Cultivate and strengthen relationships with top and elite restaurants as a trusted adviser to the market.
  • Deliver customized in-person and online product demos using data-driven insights.
  • Drive revenue by creating opportunities with restaurateurs and advancing sales conversations.
  • Educate operators on industry trends and challenge them to rethink their business approach.
  • Develop business and strategic plans to guide selling strategies and tactics.
  • Overcome objections and compete effectively against alternative solutions.
  • Consistently exceed monthly and quarterly acquisition and revenue targets.
  • Use Salesforce to manage the territory, track activity, forecast sales, and process contracts.
  • Share customer feedback with Product and Marketing teams and represent OpenTable through networking and industry events.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of proven experience in B2B sales.
  • Experience in restaurant management and/or food and beverage sales is strongly preferred.
  • Strong discovery, negotiation, presentation, and time management skills.
  • Ability to use data and analytics to support decision-making and build business cases.
  • Proficiency with Google Suite and Salesforce CRM.
  • Native Italian speaker with proficiency in English.
  • College degree required.
  • Ability to work in an unstructured, forward-thinking environment.
  • Willingness to travel domestically up to 60% of the time.
  • Experience in hospitality and technology is preferred.
