Description

  • Implement the Blue Yonder TMS application on behalf of clients.
  • Develop delivery plans for full TMS implementations and continuous improvement updates.
  • Work with clients to improve supply chain and logistics network performance through strategic planning.
  • Lead process re-engineering and to-be process mapping efforts.
  • Assist clients with implementations of secondary and tertiary IT applications.
  • Produce detailed functional design documents to capture client requirements.
  • Execute client-specific designs within the Blue Yonder TMS application.
  • Track project progress using established PM processes and tools and communicate status, successes, and blockers.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and client stakeholders to maintain progress and deliverables across the project lifecycle.
  • Participate in and lead client project meetings when needed.

Requirements

  • 4+ years of experience with transportation concepts, freight rates, logistics functional processes, and standard transportation transactions such as 204, 990, 214, 753, 754, 856, 210, 300, and 301.
  • 4+ years of experience with Blue Yonder, formerly JDA, TMS.
  • Experience with Blue Yonder transportation suite products, including Transportation Manager, Transportation Modeler, Freight Order Management, Business Analytics, and Logistics Procurement.
  • Experience configuring and executing multiple carrier modes, including Parcel, LTL, TL, Ocean, Intermodal, Rail, and Air.
  • Experience with both functional and technical components of transportation systems.
  • Functional experience with Master Data Management, SmartBench, Jobs Server, Optimization, Carrier Tariffs, Events, Dock Scheduling, and Financials.
  • Technical experience with APIs, including SOAP and REST.
  • Experience integrating with ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, and Infor, and with shipping and visibility platforms such as Centiro, Logistyx, SMC3, Inttra, FourKites, P44, Samsara, and Omnitracs.
  • Experience with SQL, XML, JSON, and electronic interfacing methods such as EDI, XML, and Flat File over transport methods such as EDI VAN, AS2, and FTP.
  • Familiarity with connected fleet management technologies and integrations such as Lytx DriveCam, Geotab, TenStreet, Zonar, Eleos, and ThermoKing.
  • Strong verbal and written communication and presentation skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work independently, work in teams, and manage multiple priorities in a fast-moving environment.
  • Organized, analytical, and able to design and execute approved solutions within project timelines.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
  • Ability to travel up to 35% by airplane and/or car, including overnights.
