Description

Build and maintain full-stack features using Next.js, React, and NestJS.
Design and develop APIs with validation, error handling, and documentation.
Create responsive and accessible user interfaces using React, Tailwind CSS, and component libraries.
Own complex workflows such as appointment scheduling, patient portals, and related integrations.
Contribute to architecture decisions and establish best practices across the stack.
Mentor engineers and provide technical guidance through code reviews.
Integrate with third-party systems including EHRs, payment providers, and external APIs.
Ensure system reliability through testing, monitoring, and performance optimization.
Maintain high standards for data handling, including HIPAA compliance.

Requirements

5+ years of experience in full-stack software engineering.
Strong proficiency in TypeScript across frontend and backend.
Strong experience with React, with Next.js preferred.
Experience with Node.js backend frameworks such as NestJS or Express.
Solid experience with PostgreSQL and ORMs such as TypeORM.
Experience building and shipping complex user-facing features end-to-end.
Experience with form handling tools such as React Hook Form or Formik and validation libraries such as Zod or Yup.
Experience mentoring engineers or leading technical initiatives.
Strong understanding of building scalable, reliable systems.
Experience in healthcare environments, including EHR integrations and HIPAA compliance, is preferred.
Experience with state management tools such as Redux or React Query is preferred.
Experience with component libraries such as Radix UI or shadcn is preferred.
Experience with background job systems such as Bull, BullMQ, or Sidekiq is preferred.
Experience integrating with Salesforce or other external enterprise systems is preferred.
Familiarity with feature flagging, gradual rollouts, and observability tools such as Datadog or analytics platforms is preferred.
Proficiency in English and comfort working remotely with international teams.
