Description

  • Design and build enterprise contact center solutions using Amazon Connect.
  • Develop contact flows, routing strategies, Customer Profiles, Cases, Tasks, and related Connect capabilities.
  • Build conversational AI, self-service experiences, and AI agents using Amazon Bedrock and Connect AI capabilities.
  • Implement tool calling, authentication, workflows, guardrails, escalation, fallback, and error recovery.
  • Develop backend integrations and event-driven solutions using AWS serverless services.
  • Build custom agent and administrative interfaces with React and the Amazon Connect Streams API.
  • Integrate contact center platforms with CRM and enterprise systems.
  • Create Infrastructure as Code with AWS CDK or Terraform and maintain CI/CD pipelines and automated testing.
  • Implement observability, monitoring, and alerting for production workloads.
  • Troubleshoot production issues and support migrations from legacy contact center platforms.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of hands-on software engineering experience.
  • 2+ years building enterprise solutions with Amazon Connect or comparable CCaaS platforms.
  • Strong AWS cloud and serverless experience, including Lambda, EventBridge, API Gateway, DynamoDB, and Step Functions.
  • Experience with Amazon Connect features including Contact Flows, routing, Customer Profiles, Cases, Tasks, Contact Lens, and Streams API.
  • Experience building conversational AI, LLM-based applications, prompt engineering, and AI tool-calling integrations.
  • Experience with Amazon Bedrock, Amazon Q in Connect, or equivalent Generative AI technologies.
  • Strong TypeScript/Node.js and Python development experience.
  • Production React development experience.
  • Experience with Infrastructure as Code, CI/CD, automated testing, monitoring, and production support.
  • Strong customer-facing communication and written and verbal English skills.
  • Experience with Amazon Lex, multi-agent architectures, AI guardrails, CRM integrations, contact center analytics, or regulated environments is preferred.
  • AWS certifications and experience with legacy platforms such as Avaya, Genesys, Cisco, Oracle, or Salesforce are preferred.
