Description

  • Design, build, and maintain agentic AI systems and multi-agent orchestration frameworks for digital therapy products.
  • Lead migration from legacy conversational AI frameworks to modern agentic architectures.
  • Develop fast inference integrations to reduce message latency and improve AI interactions.
  • Translate AI research prototypes into robust, production-grade software in collaboration with scientists and researchers.
  • Build telemetry, monitoring, and observability tooling for production AI models.
  • Establish engineering best practices and balance delivery speed, quality, scalability, maintainability, and technical debt.
  • Mentor engineers and support their technical growth.
  • Collaborate with Product, QA, DevOps, Data, AI, Engineering, business, and clinical stakeholders.
  • Troubleshoot complex issues, perform root-cause analysis, and identify technical risks and delivery improvements.
  • Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and contribute to continuous improvement.

Requirements

  • Strong programming skills and experience building production software systems.
  • Experience with LLMs, generative AI, prompt engineering, LLM APIs, or agentic frameworks.
  • Solid production experience with Microsoft Azure.
  • Experience with Azure SQL, Cosmos DB, Blob Storage, Azure DevOps, GitHub, Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform, and Grafana.
  • Strong understanding of version control, security best practices, and Agile methodologies.
  • Proven ability to deliver software in complex, fast-moving environments and work with evolving requirements.
  • Experience mentoring engineers and making pragmatic engineering trade-offs.
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, ownership, and independent problem-solving skills.
  • Experience with LangGraph, LangChain, coding agents, AI-assisted development tools, or LLMOps/MLOps is preferred.
  • Experience with regulated or clinical environments, message brokers, real-time data pipelines, testing, data engineering, or Azure ML/AKS is preferred; a BSc or higher in a relevant field is also preferred.
