Description

  • Own production reliability for trading engines, execution gateways, market-data ingestion, and PnL/reconciliation pipelines.
  • Operate and evolve multi-region AWS EKS clusters using Flux GitOps and SOPS-encrypted secrets.
  • Build observability with Prometheus, Datadog, dashboards, alerting, and service-level objectives.
  • Improve deployment safety through progressive rollouts, configuration reloads, and production guardrails.
  • Debug incidents involving stale feeds, exchange rate limits, WebSocket failures, order desynchronization, and latency regressions.
  • Harden market-data ingestion with staleness detection, failover, replay, and support for REST and WebSocket feeds.
  • Build reconciliation and data-integrity tooling across live systems, Postgres, and S3 Parquet data.
  • Participate in on-call coverage for U.S. equity market hours and 24/7 crypto venues.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in SRE, production engineering, or infrastructure roles, including real-time or latency-sensitive systems.
  • Strong Go or Rust programming skills and willingness to work in both languages.
  • Deep hands-on Kubernetes and AWS experience operating stateful, latency-sensitive production workloads.
  • Fluency with PromQL, structured-log analysis, and high-signal alert design.
  • Strong Linux internals and networking fundamentals, including kernel, NIC, and garbage-collection troubleshooting.
  • Sound judgment under pressure and clear written incident communication.
  • Experience with trading, execution, or market-data infrastructure is preferred.
  • Familiarity with market microstructure, order lifecycles, market-data providers, crypto venues, GitOps, infrastructure as code, or secrets management is preferred.
  • Python experience with pandas, Parquet, or BigQuery is preferred.
