Description

  • Design, build, and operate highly available distributed systems and caching platforms.
  • Assess architecture and scale platforms toward six times current traffic while maintaining performance and resiliency.
  • Improve caching strategies, dependency management, and active-active recovery capabilities.
  • Design and implement automated CI/CD pipelines with rolling, blue/green, and canary deployments.
  • Manage infrastructure, configuration, secrets, and application deployments using everything-as-code practices.
  • Build performance testing, capacity planning, and release quality gates.
  • Develop observability, monitoring, alerting, SLIs, SLOs, error budgets, and operational KPIs.
  • Automate operational tasks and reduce manual intervention through scripting and tooling.
  • Troubleshoot production incidents, conduct root-cause analysis, and lead blameless post-incident improvements.
  • Provide technical leadership and collaborate with SRE, development, architecture, and client teams.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in SRE, DevOps, platform engineering, or production infrastructure.
  • Experience with Apache Cassandra, including data modeling, replication, consistency, tuning, and multi-datacenter deployments.
  • Experience operating and scaling distributed, highly available, and production systems.
  • Strong knowledge of caching architectures, performance optimization, observability, and troubleshooting.
  • Hands-on AWS and cloud-native architecture experience.
  • Experience with automated CI/CD, infrastructure-as-code, and repeatable deployment processes.
  • Experience with performance testing, capacity planning, and bottleneck analysis.
  • Strong programming or scripting skills; Java/Spring Boot experience preferred.
  • Advanced English communication skills; Kubernetes, Terraform, GitLab CI/CD, GraphQL, observability platforms, Kafka/MSK, and active-active or multi-region architecture experience preferred.
