Description

  • Manage the prospect pipeline from identification through validation and closing, including lead tracking and opportunity management.
  • Map stakeholders at prospect organizations and alliance partners to support sales progress.
  • Build constructive relationships with prospective buyers and key contacts within target organizations.
  • Shape offers and provide pre-sales information in close collaboration with business development and other experts.
  • Align commercial opportunities with multiyear plans and broader business objectives.
  • Educate prospects on OMP’s value proposition in a clear, convincing, and cohesive way.
  • Address concerns, questions, and obstacles from prospective customers, including non-responsive contacts.
  • Represent OMP at commercial and networking events.
  • Manage the CRM system to follow up on accounts and opportunities.
  • Work with Marketing & Communications to promote OMP’s offering and raise awareness of the company and Unison Planning™.

Requirements

  • University degree in business administration, supply chain management, or marketing, or solid relevant experience in the field.
  • 5-10 years of commercial experience in business software solutions or supply chain consultancy.
  • Excellent communication skills in English.
  • Confidence handling complex customer needs and diverse technology use cases.
  • Ability to quickly understand a prospect’s challenges and build positive business relationships.
  • Ability to work effectively both in a global team and independently.
  • Willingness to travel as needed.
  • Outstanding social media skills, with a strong focus on LinkedIn.
  • Knowledge of French and/or German is a plus.
  • Understanding of supply chain management and planning challenges is a plus.
  • Experience in one of OMP’s core industries—chemicals, life sciences, metals, consumer goods, paper, plastic film, or packaging—is a plus.
