Description

  • Serve as the subject-matter expert on ASC 606 and IFRS 15 for enterprise contract reviews.
  • Determine performance obligations, standalone selling price allocation, variable consideration, contract modifications, and revenue recognition timing.
  • Own AR month-end close, deferred revenue roll-forwards, and revenue-to-cash reconciliations within a five-business-day close target.
  • Assess credit risk and set collections priorities and strategies.
  • Manage complex enterprise customer accounts and resolve escalated billing and collections issues.
  • Partner with FP&A on ARR, NRR, renewals, and reconciliation of SaaS metrics to GAAP revenue.
  • Support deal structuring through the deal desk process.
  • Prepare audit schedules and respond to external auditor inquiries.
  • Review and coach the Revenue Accountant and Collections Specialist while strengthening cross-functional processes.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of revenue accounting experience applying ASC 606/IFRS 15 to multi-element, usage-based, milestone, and SaaS arrangements.
  • Experience with contract review, standalone selling price analysis, variable consideration, and contract modifications.
  • Required experience with NetSuite; NetSuite Advanced Revenue Management is preferred.
  • Experience working in a multi-entity, multi-currency environment at a global or scaling SaaS company.
  • Experience reviewing or mentoring junior accounting staff.
  • Ability to make and defend technical accounting judgments with auditors.
  • Familiarity with SOX or equivalent revenue controls and experience supporting SOC 2 or financial-statement audits.
  • Ability to identify and escalate revenue recognition risks or contract ambiguities early.
  • Professional fluency in written and spoken English.
  • Professional accounting qualification such as ACCA, CPA, CIMA, or international equivalent is preferred.
  • Experience using AI and automation tools such as Claude and n8n is preferred.
  • Valid work authorization for the hiring location and willingness to travel periodically for distributed team collaboration.
