Description

  • Establish and communicate team objectives, plans, and strategies aligned with firmwide goals.
  • Oversee staffing, utilization, and financial performance for the team.
  • Manage staff and team dynamics to maintain a collaborative, high-performance culture.
  • Work with group leaders to set priorities, manage workloads, and allocate resources.
  • Oversee client service management and maintain high standards for client satisfaction.
  • Hold ultimate responsibility for team financial performance, project management, and project deliverables quality.
  • Lead efforts to expand team capabilities and service offerings in alignment with client needs and strategic objectives.
  • Drive recruitment efforts and support staff retention, professional development, and team success.
  • Evaluate team performance and make adjustments to improve outcomes.
  • Oversee marketing for repeat clients and coordinate business development efforts for new pursuits.
  • Manage performance and development of team members through mentoring and performance management.
  • Adhere to regulations and enforce safety standards.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related area preferred; an associate degree with equivalent experience is required if no bachelor’s degree is held.
  • Minimum of 10 years of related experience within an applicable field or discipline.
  • At least 6 years of experience supervising technical personnel.
  • Must be a registered professional engineer.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Strong leadership and management skills.
  • Ability to contribute effectively and work well on a team.
  • Proven track record of meeting and exceeding client expectations.
  • Successful experience building and maintaining strong workloads.
  • Ability to attract, develop, and retain talented staff who deliver results.
  • Detailed understanding of how a consulting firm operates.
  • Commitment to collaboration, ownership, and community impact.
