Description

  • Design the core trading system infrastructure for spot, margin, perpetuals, futures, and options markets.
  • Own exchange plumbing such as order management, matching, margin, risk engines, and lending/borrowing systems.
  • Collaborate with Legal, Compliance, and local market teams to build systems that meet strict regulatory requirements.
  • Analyze competitor and trader needs to determine where to lead versus fast-follow across crypto and traditional finance.
  • Build data and monitoring layers to provide situational awareness of internal systems and industry changes.
  • Help define the 3–12 month product and platform roadmap based on lifecycle, market landscape, and team capacity.
  • Drive initiatives from specification through launch by coordinating engineering, design, operations, and marketing.
  • Design and ship multi-step AI agent workflows for Core Trading, including tool use, retrieval, evaluation, and human-in-the-loop checkpoints.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or above in mathematics, physics, or computer science.
  • 5+ years of experience building sophisticated backend systems in crypto or Traditional Finance.
  • AI-native skillset with the ability to automate workflows and ship efficiently.
  • Strong logical thinking, teamwork, communication, and cross-functional coordination skills.
  • Strong interest in trading, blockchain, and the financial industry.
  • Proactive, enthusiastic, and customer-feedback-oriented from a product perspective.
  • Fluent in English and Mandarin to communicate with Mandarin-speaking clients and cross-teams.
  • Trading experience in sophisticated institutions is preferred.
  • Experience excelling in quantitative research with various mathematics tools is preferred.
  • Current right to work in Singapore; candidates requiring visa sponsorship are deprioritized.
