Description

  • Own the long-term product vision and growth strategy for the Middle East and Africa, and execute a sequenced roadmap across priority markets.
  • Drive market success by establishing product-market fit and partnering with go-to-market and marketing teams to accelerate adoption, distribution, and growth.
  • Lead complex decisions on how Stripe enters and scales in each market, aligning internal and external leaders around a shared vision.
  • Define Stripe’s market-entry approach by navigating regulatory and licensing requirements with internal teams and external partners.
  • Develop a deep understanding of business and consumer needs across the region by engaging users and analyzing market and feedback patterns.
  • Partner with product marketing and go-to-market teams to turn the roadmap into compelling narratives that drive awareness and adoption.
  • Become Stripe’s internal subject-matter expert on Middle East and Africa payments, including the ecosystem, competitive landscape, and local payment behavior.
  • Influence Stripe’s global roadmap using regional insights and expertise.

Requirements

  • 8+ years in a product management or product-adjacent role at a technology company, with a track record of building highly impactful products.
  • Strong business acumen and commercial instincts, with comfort solving complex ecosystem and platform-level problems.
  • Proven leadership experience driving high-stakes decisions and aligning senior internal and external stakeholders around a shared vision.
  • Experience partnering closely with engineers, designers, and other stakeholders to build products and complex systems at scale.
  • Experience navigating complex, multi-layered external partnerships and driving alignment on strategic product priorities.
  • Experience turning ambiguous, open-ended problems into clear strategy and an executable roadmap over multiple quarters.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to articulate user problems precisely and concisely.
  • Strong analytical skills, including defining and tracking success metrics, running experiments, and measuring product impact on revenue, conversion, and margins.
  • Experience with online payments (preferred).
  • Experience launching or scaling products in the Middle East and/or Africa, or deep familiarity with the region’s payments ecosystem (preferred).
  • Experience building platform or marketplace products where success requires balancing multiple stakeholder interests (preferred).
  • Professional proficiency in Arabic (preferred).
