Description

  • Define and execute the strategic vision, roadmap, and delivery plan for mobile engineering across Web3 products and platforms.
  • Lead, mentor, and scale a global mobile engineering team, including engineering managers and senior engineers.
  • Oversee the architecture and delivery of secure, scalable, and performant mobile applications for wallet, DeFi, trading, and on-chain interactions.
  • Partner with Product, Design, Security, Blockchain, and Infrastructure leaders to translate priorities into mobile solutions.
  • Establish engineering standards, development processes, and best practices to improve software quality and platform reliability.
  • Evaluate emerging Web3 technologies, blockchain innovations, and mobile development trends to inform technical direction.
  • Lead technical decision-making and architectural governance across mobile platforms.
  • Champion mobile security, performance optimization, and regulatory compliance for digital asset applications.
  • Represent the mobile engineering organization in executive discussions, strategic planning, hiring, and external engagements.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of software engineering experience, including significant experience leading and scaling mobile engineering teams.
  • Proven track record of defining mobile technology strategy and delivering large-scale consumer products serving millions of users.
  • Deep expertise in mobile platforms and architectures across iOS, Android, and/or cross-platform frameworks such as React Native and Flutter.
  • Strong leadership experience managing engineering managers and senior engineers.
  • Demonstrated ability to use AI-driven engineering practices, knowledge management systems, and automation frameworks to improve productivity.
  • Strong understanding of software architecture, distributed systems, security best practices, and engineering operational excellence.
  • Exceptional stakeholder management and communication skills with the ability to influence executive-level decisions.
  • Passion for emerging technologies and interest in shaping mobile experiences within the Web3 ecosystem.
  • Strong understanding of blockchain technologies, including wallets, smart contracts, dApps, token standards (ERC-20, ERC-721, ERC-1155), and digital asset infrastructure, is preferred.
  • Experience leading engineering teams in Web3, crypto, fintech, DeFi, NFT, GameFi, or digital asset products at scale is preferred.
  • Familiarity with blockchain security, custody solutions, MPC wallets, account abstraction, and emerging decentralized technologies is preferred.
  • Experience building globally distributed engineering organizations and delivering products across multiple markets and regulatory environments is preferred.
  • Active involvement in the Web3 ecosystem through speaking, open-source work, industry contributions, or community leadership is preferred.
  • Current right to work in Hong Kong is prioritized, and visa sponsorship is not available.
