Description

  • Lead product managers and builder-leads across multiple products and ventures.
  • Set direction, unblock teams, review work, and raise quality and tempo.
  • Hire and grow the product/build team.
  • Orchestrate humans and AI agents by assigning work to the right mix of people and agent fleets.
  • Architect systems and write code for hard plumbing, risky spikes, and reference implementations.
  • Own delivery across the product portfolio and keep parallel shipping on track.
  • Make build-vs-buy-vs-agent decisions and core architecture calls.
  • Set engineering standards for CI, review, evals, security, and logging.
  • Diagnose product and funnel issues from first principles and fix the underlying business or user problem.

Requirements

  • Player-coach who leads people and still ships code hands-on.
  • Strong experience building with AI at the systems level, including agents, memory, tools, orchestration, evals, and failure modes.
  • Daily use of tools such as Claude Code, Codex, Cursor, and agent harnesses.
  • Experience leading engineers and/or product managers, ideally in a fast AI-native company.
  • Proven ability to ship quickly, ideally with 0→1 products or startup leadership experience.
  • Strong business and user judgment, not just technical reasoning.
  • Ability to install and uphold tested, reliable standards for shipped work.
  • High-agency mindset with the ability to make sensible calls from minimal direction.
  • Comfort with direct, blunt feedback and the ability to defend decisions with substance.
  • Active engagement with the frontier of AI and agents, including recent tools used in the last few weeks.
  • Bonus: experience orchestrating AI agents across multiple products, martech/sales-tech depth, or venture-studio/forward-deployed background.
