Description

  • Define and own the product roadmap in alignment with company goals and priorities.
  • Gather and analyze business requirements and translate them into clear user stories with acceptance criteria.
  • Prioritize the product backlog based on business value, technical complexity, and customer impact.
  • Facilitate alignment and communication across tech, product, and business stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with Engineering, Design, QA, and DevOps teams to deliver product releases on time and at high quality.
  • Perform acceptance testing and validate new features before release.
  • Monitor product performance using tools such as Power BI and iterate based on data and user feedback.
  • Support post-launch activities including documentation, knowledge sharing, and product training.
  • Own and manage the payments squad across Peru, Mexico, Colombia, and future LATAM markets.
  • Monitor payment acceptance rates and work with providers and merchants to address performance drops or anomalies.
  • Maintain product-level relationships with payment providers and coordinate on roadmaps, integrations, and new capabilities.
  • Ensure compliance with local payment regulations and track regulatory changes that may affect product strategy.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as a Product Owner or in a similar product execution role.
  • Experience in fintech, payments, or consumer platforms within the LATAM region.
  • Experience in Peru is highly desirable; experience in Mexico and Colombia is also highly desirable.
  • Solid understanding of the software development lifecycle and agile methodologies such as Scrum and Kanban.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage product delivery in cross-functional, remote teams.
  • Strong knowledge of product discovery, backlog management, and stakeholder alignment.
  • Experience using JIRA, Confluence, Power BI, and Monday.com.
  • Knowledge of SQL and observability or monitoring tools such as Grafana or Kibana is a strong differentiator.
  • Fluent English is mandatory.
  • Fluent Spanish is mandatory.
  • Candidates must be based in Peru.
