Description

  • Contribute to the development and maintenance of distributed systems that support real-time financial transactions.
  • Participate in integrating payment gateways, banks, and other payment methods.
  • Assist in implementing and maintaining a microservices-based architecture.
  • Write and maintain clean, efficient code with strong unit test coverage.
  • Collaborate in code reviews and share best practices with the team.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable and performant technical solutions.
  • Support continuous improvement by identifying recurring issues and suggesting enhancements.
  • Collaborate with DevOps on CI/CD pipelines and monitoring tools following established practices.

Requirements

  • Must be located in Brazil.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Hands-on experience in backend software development, preferably in the financial or payments domain.
  • Basic understanding of payment processing concepts such as payment flows, settlement, and reconciliation.
  • Proficiency in Java 8+ and experience with Spring Boot for backend development.
  • Familiarity with AWS services such as EC2, S3, RDS, or Lambda is a strong plus.
  • Experience with relational databases such as PostgreSQL or MySQL, including query optimization and transaction management.
  • Understanding of event-driven architecture and asynchronous communication patterns.
  • Exposure to microservices architecture and tools such as Spring Cloud, OAuth2, and JPA.
  • Experience building RESTful APIs and working with authentication mechanisms such as OAuth2 or JWT.
  • Good working knowledge of Git in collaborative environments.
  • Ability to document code, write simple technical specs, and follow software design guidelines.
  • Advanced English communication skills for technical discussions and reading documentation.
  • Fluent Portuguese is mandatory.
  • Spanish is desirable.
  • Full-time CLT contract.
  • 100% remote work from home.
