Description

  • Own the account management function for Auth0 customers across both business and technical needs.
  • Advise customers in a post-sales capacity on product adoption and best practices.
  • Support strategic accounts by engaging with stakeholders ranging from developers to CISOs.
  • Build trust by understanding customer goals, use cases, and requirements.
  • Recommend process changes, product configurations, and additional features to meet customer needs.
  • Review customer architectures and Auth0 configurations to improve security posture and ROI.
  • Drive subscription adoption, customer satisfaction, and retention across a portfolio of accounts.
  • Develop strong relationships with customer decision-makers and internal teams.
  • Contribute to internal and external enablement content for staff and customers.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of total experience in information technology.
  • At least 3 years of hands-on experience as a Technical Account Manager or comparable IAM practitioner role.
  • Working proficiency in IAM federation and access control technologies, including SAML 2.0, WS-Federation, OAuth, and OpenID Connect.
  • Experience supporting legacy applications in hybrid IT environments and non-standard applications.
  • Experience with enterprise applications and integrations such as ITSM and HR systems.
  • Experience with consumer and/or SaaS application deployments.
  • Experience with security and performance monitoring and third-party signal integrations such as SIEM, MDM, and WAF.
  • Familiarity with IAM solution providers is strongly desired.
  • Strong background in Technical Account Management, Technical Consulting, Product Management, Solution Architecture, or a similar role.
  • Understanding of common software development practices such as SDLC, CI/CD, and containerization.
  • Ability to code in JavaScript.
  • Understanding of identity-adjacent technologies such as encryption, PKI, and RSA.
  • Strong business acumen with a history of owning enterprise customer relationships and escalations.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to work across audiences from developers to CISOs.
  • Ability to track and influence customer behavior and health metrics across a portfolio of accounts.
  • Must reside in the Pacific, Mountain, or Central time zones.
  • Some travel required, including in-person onboarding and travel to Okta’s San Francisco HQ during the first week of employment.
  • BA/BS/MS in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline, or equivalent work experience.

  • Annual OTE range of $128,000–$176,000 USD for candidates in California (excluding San Francisco Bay Area), Colorado, Illinois, New York, and Washington.
