Description

  • Advise early-adopter customers on architectural best practices and product adoption during product launch windows.
  • Lead time-boxed technical sprints with high-value customers to close post-sale technical value gaps.
  • Operate within strict rules of engagement while coordinating with Core TAM teams to avoid ownership conflicts.
  • Execute structured account handbacks once adoption thresholds, transition criteria, or playbooks are met.
  • Partner with Forward Deployed Engineering, Product Acceleration, Product Management, and Engineering on customer roadmaps and capability rollouts.
  • Capture technical telemetry from early adopters and translate field friction into actionable product signals.
  • Evaluate early-stage software and co-author go/no-go criteria for broader TAM support.
  • Document repeatable adoption patterns, configuration models, and expansion triggers into scalable engineering playbooks.
  • Partner with TAM knowledge-scaling teams to create programmatic content that enables global TAMs on new solutions.
  • Act as an escalation and response resource during high-priority launches to absorb technical workload and support core TAM teams.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of total experience in information technology.
  • At least 4 years of hands-on experience as a Technical Account Manager, Solutions Architect, Technical Consultant, or comparable role in IAM.
  • Deep technical credibility in SaaS infrastructure, the software development life cycle, and modern identity landscapes.
  • Working knowledge of identity federation and access control protocols such as SAML 2.0, WS-Federation, OAuth, and OpenID Connect.
  • Experience with legacy applications in hybrid IT environments and non-standard applications that do not support modern federation protocols.
  • Experience with enterprise applications, SaaS deployments such as Salesforce, Box, Office 365, and Workday, and HR-as-master identity models.
  • Experience with lifecycle management scenarios including workflows, HR-driven provisioning, Microsoft integrations, and SCIM.
  • Experience with security and performance monitoring and third-party signal integrations such as SIEM, MDM, and WAF.
  • Strong understanding of web-scale infrastructure concepts including RTO, RPO, and Requests Per Second limits.
  • BA/BS/MS in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline, or equivalent work experience.
  • Ability to work remotely with less than 20% travel.
  • Preferred: experience in the IAM space and with customer escalations in matrixed global organizations.

  • Annual OTE of $160,000-$200,000 USD for candidates in California, Colorado, Illinois, New York, and Washington.
  • Annual OTE of $155,000-$194,000 CAD for candidates in Canada.
