Description

  • Build a long-term plan for net-new logo pipeline generation.
  • Consistently deliver revenue targets to support year-over-year territory growth.
  • Identify, develop, and execute account strategies that generate pipeline and drive sales opportunities.
  • Target and gain access to key leaders in prospect accounts and build a network of decision makers.
  • Scope, negotiate, and close agreements to meet and exceed revenue quota targets.
  • Leverage partners to identify and open new opportunities.
  • Build effective working partnerships across the Okta ecosystem, including xDRs, partners, presales, and Customer First teams.
  • Travel as needed to build and maintain customer and prospect relationships.
  • Educate and create demand within CTO organizations and other technical stakeholders.
  • Apply a sales framework such as MEDDPICC, Challenger, or Sandler to manage the sales process.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of success growing revenue for complex enterprise SaaS products.
  • Proven ability to pitch and close Product, Engineering, and Architecture decision makers.
  • Strong technical discovery skills that resonate with the developer community.
  • Technical acumen with the ability to connect technical solutions to business outcomes.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills across audiences of all levels and technical aptitudes.
  • Confidence and self-direction, paired with the humility to work effectively in teams.
  • Experience using a sales framework such as MEDDPICC, Challenger, or Sandler; MEDDPICC is used internally.
  • Willingness to travel as necessary.
  • Travel to the San Francisco, CA or Chicago, IL office for in-person onboarding during the first week of employment.
