Description

  • Act as a technical expert and trusted advisor during the post-sales process with customer teams.
  • Embed with mortgage clients to understand workflows and demonstrate how Ocrolus improves mortgage origination efficiency.
  • Review and consult on technical solutions, APIs, microservices, data pipelines, and integrations.
  • Build and support technical solutions and integrations for mortgage clients using Ocrolus, Encompass, and other POS/LOS platforms.
  • Run proof-of-concepts and proof-of-value engagements that demonstrate ROI quickly.
  • Troubleshoot technical issues in live production environments and restore service.
  • Partner with Account Management and Product teams to deliver customer value and influence the roadmap.
  • Travel occasionally to customer sites and industry events.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in software engineering, solutions engineering, or technical consulting.
  • 3+ years of experience in mortgage or lending workflows.
  • Strong understanding and hands-on experience with Encompass.
  • Strong consultative sales or account management approach with the ability to map technology to business challenges.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, including experience engaging senior mortgage executives.
  • Experience with backend technologies including Python, APIs, Encompass Developer Connect, and SQL.
  • Experience with frontend technologies including React/TypeScript and JavaScript with ICE Secure Scripting Framework (SSF) for Encompass custom forms and workflow logic.
  • Familiarity with mortgage LOS/POS platforms such as Encompass, Blend, SimpleNexus, and Floify, plus Git and basic cloud concepts in AWS or Azure.
  • Ability to thrive in fast-paced, ambiguous environments.
  • Experience with SaaS integrations or loan origination systems, additional mortgage LOS/POS experience, and exposure to AI/ML or generative AI are preferred.
