Description

  • Own the product vision and roadmap for the platform layer, including document intelligence infrastructure, the API/developer platform, and model orchestration.
  • Define platform abstractions and capabilities that support both SMB and Mortgage business units without creating one-off solutions.
  • Prioritize competing business unit needs while balancing near-term delivery against long-term scalability.
  • Own human-in-the-loop learning systems, including task design, feedback loops, and data generation to improve model performance.
  • Partner with Automation and ML teams to improve document accuracy, classification models, and extraction pipelines.
  • Drive product strategy for model orchestration, including model evaluation, deployment, and production monitoring.
  • Develop agentic services that automate workflows, reduce manual steps, and improve product outcomes for vertical teams.
  • Own the developer-facing surface area, including APIs, documentation, webhooks, and integration patterns.
  • Improve API reliability, latency, and developer ergonomics.
  • Lead a team of platform product managers and define platform metrics, SLAs, and health indicators.

Requirements

  • 8-14 years of product management experience, including at least 3 years owning platform, infrastructure, or developer-facing products.
  • Technical background in computer science, engineering, or equivalent hands-on experience.
  • Ability to read architecture diagrams, reason about system design, and partner effectively with senior engineers.
  • Deep AI/ML fluency and genuine intellectual curiosity about model architectures, tooling, and the direction of the field.
  • Experience building and scaling AI/ML-powered products or platforms in production.
  • Hands-on builder mentality, including prototyping solutions and writing code or vibe coding to test ideas.
  • Experience working at growth-stage companies, ideally Series B-D or $20M-$200M ARR.
  • Strong cross-functional leadership experience, including navigating competing stakeholder priorities and making tradeoff decisions.
  • Experience managing or mentoring other product managers.
  • Experience in fintech, lending, document processing, or financial data infrastructure.
  • Preferred: experience with document intelligence, OCR, or unstructured data extraction at scale.
  • Preferred: familiarity with ML model lifecycle management, including training, evaluation, deployment, and monitoring.
  • Preferred: experience building API platforms or developer tools used by external customers.
  • Preferred: background in fraud detection, identity verification, or underwriting automation.
  • Preferred: contributions to open-source projects, technical writing, or side projects that show strong builder instincts.
